Hello and welcome to my Tegaki J blog. :)

I am American and my time zone is at -8 GMT.

This journal will consist of art, scribbles/doodles (rakugaki), and, occasionally, notes or event posts.

This journal is link or unlink free, watch free, and free to comments and messages. I am sorry, but my Japanese is not very good and most of my writing will be in English. Please feel free to write in Japanese. I will do my best! However, I may not understand very well, so I'm very sorry.

I am currently obsessed with Hetalia and most of my journal entries will be of Hetalia, as far as I know. I realize some watchers added me during my Soul Eater and Zetsubou Sensei art posts and I will try to draw a few of those sometimes.;; I am into various series and will interspace my Hetalia posts with those sometimes. You can see some of my current favorite series in my profile. (Fairy Tail ♥♥ Unfortunately there is not a large fandom, not at all. :*( )

At some point in the near future, I am getting off this Zetsubou Sensei bender and raping Kekkaishi fandom. (And Fairy Tail. And Oofuri.)

In other news, stopped by the chat again and pulled out two pics... you can tell I was pretty damn deep in a slump by the first one. It's all awkward and everything. XD ...or maybe I just really do suck that bad. orz The other one is better but still a bit off... I did some more shading but I think the one before I shaded the face looks better so up it is.

Fooled around in Shii-chan's chat since I've decided I probably won't step into the SZS chatroom Takeshita linked to last time. (I am so disappointed with her.) Not with other people in there.

I've gotten on a Kimura kick lately. I don't really like her that much, but picturing her as a guy as part of the gender-switching chapter I heard about makes me fond of the possible guy version.;; Speaking of which, Kimura and Otonashi would make a really cute yuri couple. ^^

Damn, I need to get back to studying. ::flinch:: Finals next week. T___T Slept all day and can't really concentrate. Flatmates have a bunch of friends over and they're chatting noisily. :P Wanna shower... but.;;

The more discerning may have already noticed, but to tell you the truth I became a fan of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei mainly because of its clever (to the frequent point of hilarity) cynicism despite a few overdone cliches (at some point I should give proper evaluative comments on Kaere Kimera's character-- I find it more disturbing than not that the misconception over the relevancy of American legal systems thanks to Lieback v. McDonalds has even made its appearance in a Japanese anime as an authentic example[1]).

That being said, I don't actually like any particular character in the whole show, with the possible exception, of Nozomu, simply because of his sheer potential to be abused.

That being said, I think my favored top pairing for the series may be inconceivable for most SZS fans.

It's Jinroku/Nozomu.

To be fair, Kafuka/Nozomu (yes, that order is correct) has rapidly manifested in position 2. I'm not sure I ever agreed with the description of Nozomu as super-negative and Kafuka as super-positive (as translated by a.f.k.[2]) because one normally translates that into pessimist and optimist. However studying their behavior, it isn't clear such descriptions are justifiable applied. Well, actually Nozomu is inarguably pessimistic to some degree, but I'm not sure he's a total pessimist. He seems more overly pragmatic, gullible, and cynical, and with a hefty slosh of paranoia and masochism.

Kafuka, on the other hand-- That girl was off from the beginning. She didn't come across to me as an optimist so much as someone with an supernaturally neurotic type of self-denial. That shit is scary.

Since that flash at the end of the RAW episode 8 revealing 'that' activity, I believe this supports Kafuka's sinister aspect. Well, more on that later... I should do a commentary on the episodes. SZS is clever and interesting enough to warrant it.

However, again, it's extremely depressing I somehow ended up wading into fanwork for this series (first) instead of for Oofuri and Fairy Tail which I also am a fan for-- with the significant difference that I really like, at least a few, of the characters in them.

[1] However, if Kurata used the mention of the case knowing full well the common misunderstanding than I applaud his sense of sarcasm. I wasn't clear about the real details of the notorious case until I looked it up either, but while on the day tour from London, two somewhat obnoxious boys from New York themselves approvingly mentioned the case as an example of American overlawyering which obtuseness disappointed me.
[2] At this point in time I've fully watched ep 1-2 and skimmed to the end of season one while fully watching Zoku 1-4; I've also read what scanlated manga there is available which totals to perhaps 2.5 volumes as no scanlator group has dedicated themselves to its project. I have skimmed Zoku RAWs to episode 8, but didn't understand much of the dialogue as my rather shoddy Japanese is inappropriate for the sophisticated terms and concepts involved as well as various in-jokes.

Male!Abiru, whom she seems to like, from Zetsubou Sensei. I tried pretty hard and it's a decent job (for me) but I know I'm still pretty short... >< Oh well, I spent hours on it and I'm through. Maybe I should've focused on other paperwork and stuff but this was on the list too if possible and I ended up doing it anyway... made it in time for her I think.

m!Abiru has longish hair instead of the short cut Takeshita-san seems to favor because I picture m!Abiru with longish hair... the original girl version has braids and strictly speaking I picture Abiru's rough-and-tumble outdoorsy type has the braid carrying over... Think I sprung the hair too much though. Bugger.

Blast the paperwork!! I still have 2 requests for Tegaki too and etc... but need to do school papers now. D: ::flail::

Edit 3/3: ::facedesk:: Takeshita thanked me but was really confused because apparently it's not her birthday. Crap. I thought that Japanese was really straightfoward, but I guess I read it wrong?! DDD: "あ、そういえば明後日は私の誕生日パーティーを友人が開いてくれるそうです!" doesn't mean her bday is the day after tomorrow? ?_?;; Aw, shit.;; Oh well, papers! I'm a dead woman.

I keep meaning to do stuff with him to practice drawing wings again and just as good stuff for Aishuu, but haven't quite managed it... :/ Yue's costume is kind of hard to parse real quick and I haven't had the patience to go over it thoroughly yet.

In other news, Tegaki is BACK ♥ All my junk there is terrible in perspectives and stuff, and I've warned you. I need major work on it (and yes, desperate for constructive comments;; diagrams optional) and the majority is just me fooling around.;;

However since I was left high and dry in the host shift for a day and I had the drawing itch, I have two doodles in limbo from Painter... eventually will have those up too I guess.

On another note, I find it pretty funny that I've ended up remembering how to draw Kudo's (Zetsubou Sensei) face since I've been exchanging comments with 竹下さん on her Japanese Tegaki blog and doodling a bunch of Kudo's in my comments. I think I'll try to do a mugshot of the main SZS characters on my Tegaki when I have the feeling for it. (Mugshots seem easiest, although I probably should do a ... haha, I dunno.)

Anyway, night all. I've been staying up at terrible times lately. I've reversed my sleeping pattern AGAIN, damnit! It was such a novel thing to be up consistently at 8-9 AM daily in Lancaster. And sleeping by 2 AM most of the time.

On the other hand, I think working with it and the basic tools it has is kind of helpful. Since Tegaki E was down since yesterday and I promised this LJer who uploaded ep 21-23 of Oofuri up to share with us all a picture, I did her Izumi (ahaha, needed her help to figure out who it was;;) request in Painter.

Rusty + never got hang of anatomy/structure + less control via tablet = more of a disaster

This is not a good moment. The scanner I have on hand needs its original software discs to work on the laptop, meaning I can't scan with it. D:

....uhhh, I had vowed to do a pic/doodle a day for a week straight since I didn't have something cool for Chinese New Year's, and I did get two mugshots done, but this makes it... sort of... pointless. ::facepalm:: It feels even more foolish to take a picture to demonstrate. :X What say you? (Although I only have a potential audience of one at the moment.)

Take photos to amuse you anyway? Wait until the next time I go home (weeks later) and find those discs? Try to infiltrate the library and see if there are scanners?? (This will mean if I work up the guts to draw porn, I can't actually scan it until later. XDDD) Guuuh. ;_; ::forlorn::

So I've been pretty comatose. I think I'm in a creative rut like woah; where has that drive from high school gone?! ;_;

Consequently while I had a few fic plunnies bite the last couple of weeks, I seriously doubt I'll go anywhere with them because they threaten to be long fics and I'm still have problems with the stupid one-shots that having been charcoaling to a nice ash on my backburner.

Ghost Hunt/Jigoku Shoujo crossover:
After d/ling and watching Ghost Hunt, I'm extremely intrigued by the premise of what if SPR is sent to investigate the Jigoku Shoujo urban legend and becomes embroiled in the supernatural vengeance killings from the JS series. Preferably, the whole of SPR won't wind up dead, but not sure how it'd go.

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro/Detective Conan:
Version A: Neuro stumbles across the mystery of missing Detective of the East through a combination of mention from Yako and a minor case and very well thinks he might've gotten his ultimate mystery.
Version B: Instead of conscripting Yako, Neuro conscripted Conan Edogawa vis-a-vis Shinichi Kudo as his false front... but the solving competition between the two might very well bring the Apocalypse (figuratively).

I've been stewing over trying to get off my butt and just draw, but things might look pretty bad being rusty as I am and crap with structure in the first place. Anyway, hopefully I'll have some sketches of Dumbledore+Grindelwald (from description only since I've yet to read the last couple of HP books), Abe (Ookiku Furikabatte), and things from Fairy Tail (most likely Natsu, Gray, and maaaybe some of Erza because she is damn cool). Still needing to catch up the readings for school not helping either.;;

Oh, and something for Kekkaishi.

XD Applaud her.;; ::was pulling a blank for Bring Back the Porn Day and no one in the other chat would prompt:: Without further ado, ~~a very quick short~~ a crappy drabble to celebrate Bring Back the Porn Day~!! (Er, I'm kind of bad with the porn anyway. This sort.)

The young man Yuusaku Kudo had brusquely grabbed and dragged from the business social backs up a few quick, frightened steps as Yuusaku releases his wrist. "What the hell?" he demands sharply, brown eyes darting around the empty lounge room. He rubs at his sore wrist. "What is the meaning of this!"

He jerks his brown eyes to Yuusaku's hand as he hears the distinctive click of the door being locked. His lips tighten and he inhales sharply. He walks a few steps toward the door, ready to tell Yuusaku off and shove pass the famous author, but in a swift, smooth motion, Yuusaku catches his hands, twists them behind his back and yanks his suit jacket halfway down to bind his arms. The slim Japanese man reacts too slowly to put up much of a defense although he gets in one good stomp to Yuusaku's instep before he feels himself being shoved back. He falls forward slightly, against Yuusaku's clenched fists, and coughs a little from the impact of being slammed up against the wall.

He flinches a little when Yuusaku sets his left hand beside his head with a thump but his confused gaze is steady as Yuusaku leans in toward him. "What's your problem?!"

"Funny you ask that," Yuusaku finally says, dark blue eyes intense on the man's nondescript face. "I think it's you with the problem. You wouldn't know where my wife is would you?"

The other man's lip curls up with a snarl. "I have no idea, but I can see why you can't find her if you're such an asshole."

Yuusaku's crooked grin is a little too sharp to be amiable. The tightening fingers over the other man's collarbone showed the author didn't believe him. "You know exactly where she is."

He jerks as Yuusaku eases a knee between his legs and shudders. "No, I don't!" he hisses, spooked. He squirms frantically. "You're crazy, let me go!"

Yuusaku jerks open the top of the other man's dress shirt, popping off the top buttons and pushes a hand against the other's chest, elicting an angry curse. He tangles the younger man's straight black hair in his fingers and yanks slightly, sliding his other hand over the other's hips, pointedly emphasizing the rounded breadth and casually begins undoing the other's pants.

"Stop!"

Yuusaku almost does at the shockingly realistic terrified tone. He is certain he is isn't mistaken, but for a split-second he doubts his intuition, all his senses telling him the man isn't lying.

Once he would've believed in only his senses and likelihoods and logic. Then he fell in love with an anomaly that forced him to learn faith in intuition and deduction in senselessness. She made lies and deception true. The intrigue of having to reorder the sheer illogic and disorder she justifies to order and reason seduced him. She made him a wiser man.

It's this fuller understanding that lets him cast that moment of doubt aside.

When he finds the sparse public hair framing a decidedly female vagina under the boxers, he smirks in vindication. He looked up at the 'man' behind his square glasses and says, "Care to try again?" He fingers the slightly wet opening and stretches her out with a hand, steadying her with a firm hand on her shoulder before undoing his own pants.

"Bastard," she breathes, voice hitching with unmistakable fear. "I swear I don't know where she is. Don't do this-- How can you if you're really marr--"

She arches her hips as he slides into her and the shaky gasp turns into an wicked laugh. She leans her forehead against Yuusaku's as a rustling snap sounded behind her, revealing her arms to be suddenly free. She digs her fingers on Yuusaku's cheek as he reaches up to her hair again.

Aristocratic twists of gold cascade from the wig as Yuusaku pops it off. As she also reaches up and brushes the amused tears from her her closed eyes, the color of her irises transform from dull, muddy brown to brilliant blue overlaid with mirror gray. The pained and frightened expression melts into a cool mask cocked with a confident smirk. "Sure of yourself, aren't you?" she says, voice rising and thinning to a higher lilt.

"When there is an answer," he murmurs, rocking them together. He holds her up as she wraps her arms around him and pushes in her again and again. "I'll know it."

Yukiko gives an annoyed huff and tweaks his nose. "Such arrogance! You can't when the answer is a secret."

"Maybe, but," Yuusaku gently lays his right palm above her heart. "I'll never mistake you."
